Louis Icart - Feathered Hat
His etchings epitomize the depiction of women during the art deco period.
He created in excess of 500 etchings using a combination techniques including
etchings and dry point with hand coloring as characterized in the book
"Buying Works by Icart." He created full sized etchings, erotic illustrated books,
beautiful pastel enhanced lithographs, menu covers, posters, postcards, advertising
prints, and oils on canvas.

This is a loose sheet that has not been conserved and retains its original patina. The paper is very heavy wove with a partial Von Zonner Gelden watermark.
There are no scratches, tears, rips, pinholes or foxing to the image. There is no toning to the sheet or image.
The signature (lr) is moderate.
There is nice good, subtle hand coloring in the lips, flowers, and leaves.
This is a very good image.
Overall the image an A and the sheet an A.
