The Louis Icart Those Who Cry etching fits the description that his etchings depict elegant women during the art deco period.
He created more than of 500 etchings by using different techniques. These include
etching and dry point combined with hand coloring. Furthermore, the book
“Buying Works by Icart.” describes his methods. Mainly he created full sized etchings.
But he also liked erotic illustrated books, and pastel enhanced lithographs.
Futher, he produced menu covers, advertising prints, and oils on canvas.
