The Lockport Street Gallery Recipe Book

The Lockport Street Gallery Recipe Book is part of a project to promote the National Scenic Byway and US Route 30, The Lincoln Highway. Selected businesses along the Lincoln Highway in Illinois contributed recipes to the book and had the artist David Alan Badger create a drawing of the facade of the Lockport Street Gallery building. The book contains 117 pages and has drawings of all of the businesses that contributed. We contributed two recipes, and I can assure you, they are good.

To quote "The Illinois Lincoln Highway, rich with history and heritage, celebrates America's first successful transcontinental highway that mobilized the Nation, changing the society forever. Stretching along the 179 - mile corridor, the Illinois portion touches dozens of communities. The historic route stretches from Lynwood, at the Indiana border, to Fulton, the western terminus, as it crosses the Mississippi River."

The price for the book is $18 and you can order it below using our secure shopping cart. You can come in and pick it up, or we can ship it to you for $3.
