His etchings epitomize the depiction of women during the art deco period.
He created in excess of 500 etchings using a combination techniques including
etchings and dry point with hand coloring as characterized in the book
“Buying Works by Icart.” He created full sized etchings, erotic illustrated books,
beautiful pastel enhanced lithographs, menu covers, posters, postcards, advertising
prints, and oils on canvas.

Paper Size: 21 5/16 x 13 7/8″
The paper is heavy wove and has been professionally conserved.
There is no foxing, tears, rips, scratches, pinholes or other imperfections to the image.
The signature in crayon (lr) is strong and there is the notation “45” with the EM blindstamp (ll).
The publisher’s notation (ul) reads “Publie par la Estampe Moderne 14, rue de Richelieu Paris 1922” clear and correct, and the copyright notation (ur) reads “Copyright by the F. H. Bresler Co – Milwaukee USA” is clear and correct.
The hand coloring very good.
Overall the image an A and the sheet an A.
