All quotes over $3,000 are cash value. The cash quotes are discounted from the credit card or PayPal amount and you may pay as described below. For sales under $3,000, the quote is the actual price you will pay. Shipping and full insurance are required if I ship the item using my shipping account. Fine art quotes are good for 30 days and the prices quoted are firm.
If you are a resident of Michigan, you are required to pay 6% sales tax and I can sell to you. If you are a resident of a state that does not collect sales tax, you do not have to pay sales tax and I can sell to you. If you are a reseller with a valid resale license, you do not have to pay sales tax, but I require that you provide me with a copy of your reseller’s license before I will sell to you. If you are a resident in a state that collects sales tax, whether I can sell to you depends on your state’s law currently governing internet out of state sales. If your state does have a law, and the law applies to my business, I may not be able sell to you. If your state doesn’t currently have an internet sales law, I can sell to you and you may be liable to pay sales tax to the state.
If the US congress passes a law governing internet cross state sales, it will define the conditions under which I can sell to you. Until congress acts, it is possible that I may not be able to sell to you.
We accept Zelle (Chase QuickPay), money orders/bank cheques, personal checks, bank wire, and PayPal from anywhere in the world (with our approval). For non-US buyers there is a $25 wire fee and if we agree to accept PayPal there is a 4.5% PayPal fee. Michigan residents pay 6.0% sales tax. For fine art orders over $3,000, we only accept payment by money orders/bank cheques, personal checks or bank wire. For domestic bank wires there is $15 fee. For domestic credit card or PayPal payments there is a 3.5% fee.

Buyer pays actual shipping charges plus handling, or those charges as indicated. International buyers pay all fees associated with money transfer, shipping, importation, customs, etc.
We will immediately ship ordered items upon full receipt of funds. We ship by UPS ground or the USPS unless otherwise requested, and all items must be fully insured. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered from the Lockport Street Gallery passes to the buyer when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. If the item is insured by a common carrier, and the item is damaged during shipment, the receiver must retain all shipping materials, otherwise the insurance will not be in effect and all damage then becomes the buyer’s responsibility.
Return Policy and Acceptance
For items purchased directly from our store, we will accept returns for store credit only (they must be in the same condition as when sold). You must return the item within 14 days to receive store credit. There are no returns on sales items. There are no cash returns. See more below.
If you request a return because you believe a piece of art is not authentic, you must follow the authenticity guidelines listed on the main page of the artist. In particular, this applies to any works by Dali.
We will provide a condition report and as many images as you request. If you believe the artwork you purchased does not match the description we provided, you must contact us within 14 days and provide images and a description of the discrepancy. If you do not contact us within 14 days, that will constitute acceptance of the artwork. If we believe we misdescribed the artwork, we, upon receipt of the artwork in the same condition as sent, will refund the payment for the artwork. We will not accept return’s because of buyer’s remorse.
If an item is lost or damaged during shipping we will work with the shipper to find the lost item, or if damaged, we will file a claim with the shipper and provide reimbursement upon completion of the claim process. Claims may take a long period of time to complete.
For items we special order, or order directly from the vendor for you (most shopping cart items), no returns are accepted.
