The Louis Icart Garter etching fits the description that his etchings depict elegant women during the art deco period.

“Buying Works by Icart.” describes his methods. Mainly he created full sized etchings.

This sheet is heavy wove and is VAN GELDER ZONEN. The work has been professionally conserved. There is no toning to the paper or image.
There are no scratches, tears, rips, or pinholes to the image.
The signature (lr) is strong and clear. There is a blindstamp in the (ll) with the notation “21/100.”
There is very nice coloring in the image.
I rate the image an A and the sheet as and A.
