Shown below are original oil paintings by Louis Icart. Icart’s oil paintings are substantially different from his commercial etchings, although you may see similarities between the two.
After WWII, Icart tried to recapture the American market by creating lithographs of his oil paintings. The effort was not a success and the lithographs were never widely distributed. The lithographs that we have available are shown below.
