The Salvador Dali Hommage to Leonardo da Vinci suite consists of a portfolio of twelve engravings with color on Arches. The sheet sizes 22 x 29 7/8″, the images are 14 3/8 x 19 7/8″. The artwork was published by deFrancony in 1975. The tirage 530 with various numberings. The engravings are contained in a portfolio case with and inner folio showing an image of Dali and Leonardo. The suite is authentic. The suite is EA 40/60. The suite has been conserved.

Although known for his role in Surrealism, Dalí was also a seminal example of celebrity showmanship and the cult of personality, a phenomenon that dominates popular culture today. Always a colorful and flamboyant presence with his signature cape, wide-eyed expression and trademark upturned waxed mustache, Dalí was a master of self-promotion and spectacle.
