The Salvador Dali Medicine and Science portfolio consists of 8 drypoint etchings with color.  Schneider published the site. Rigal did the engraving.  Dali signed each etching in the lower right.  Each etching is numbered in the lower left. One complete suite of the etchings is available.  The suite for sale is  2/125. Additionally, some of the etchings are available individually.  The complete suite is on Arches.      The image size is 6 7/8 x 4 7/8″.  The sheet size is 17 5/8 x 12 3/8″.  The suite is authentic.

Dalí was known for his role in Surrealism. He was also a seminal example of celebrity showmanship. Subsequently the cult of personality is a phenomenon that dominates popular culture today. Dali was always a colorful and flamboyant presence. This is reflected by his signature cape, wide-eyed expression and trademark upturned waxed mustache. This is the tirage for Salvador Dali Medicine and Science.

The total tirage is 155 plus proofs.  This is a small edition for Dali.  There are 125 suites (1/125 – 125/125) on Arches.  There are 30 suites (I/XXX – XXX/XXX) on Japon nacre.  Finally, there are proofs on each paper.

The etchings are Hippocrates, Louis Pasteur, Pierre Curie, Marie Curie, Albert Schweitzer, Jonas Salk, Alexander Fleming, and Enrico Fermi.
