Note that while this book is incomplete, there are some unique features to what remains that make this an exceptional portfolio. The text on parchment contains title and chapter pages with gold lettering. The lithographs on parchment are very clean with very good contrast. In addition, each lithograph is signed. The set on parchment is complete and is in very good condition. The lithographs on Japon nacre have remarques and each lithograph is signed. The sets of decompositions are on Rives and are in very good condition. The justification page is different from the justification pages found on all of the other books from this set. It indicates that book A originally contained only 1 original drawing, not the numbers indicated by the above references.
