Salvador Dali Biblia Sacra – 1969
Salvador Dali Biblia Sacra was published by Rizzoli of Rome in 1969. It contains 105 paintings. These are based on select passages from the Latin Vulgate Bible. The religious theme presented in this book typifies Dali. Its color and content are also typical of his works. The book is an illustrated rendition of the Bible. It contains 105 lithographs from original gouaches. It is volumed into five. The lithographs are printed on heavy paper. They contain a Dali signature watermark. It is inside a circle on pages of text. The print extends to the paper’s margin, sized 19 x 13 3/4.” Dali didn’t sign the lithographs or books, and they were in Vulgate.
